CINDERELLA

February 2013

A long time ago, in a kingdom far, far away, Cinderella lives with her two step-sisters and wicked stepmother…a servant in her own home. Meanwhile, Prince Philip needs a suitable bride, so the King invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball. With no suitable party dress, poor Cinderella has no hope of attending the ball…until she meets her Fairy Godmother. Toss in a pumpkin, some mice, a rat, and a few waves of the magic wand, and Cinderella is off to the ball…the rest, as they say, is “fairy tale history.”

LIGHT UP THE SKY

May 2013

While a truck-driver-turned-playwright watches his first play being produced in Boston, the backstage antics steal the show. This behind-the-scenes comedy features the grandly temperamental leading lady; her sarcastic, gin rummy playing mother; the flamboyant director; the lowbrow producer and his ice-skating, wisecracking wife. As opening night seems to go awry, everyone believes the show is a flop and turn against each other. When it turns out that the reviews are favorable, the tables are suddenly turned! A true madcap “laugh-a-minute” comedy, by the master - Moss Hart.
